Welder GT students have been studying weather and meteorology in class and were able to take a field trip to Corpus Christi to continue their learning. Students observed weather conditions in Sinton the morning of the field trip and recorded observations in their journal. They did the same thing at the Bayfront and then analyzed their notes to identify similarities and differences in the weather conditions. Students then visited and toured the KRIS-TV studio where they were able to interview meteorologist Stefanie Lauber, watch the live television broadcast and made a special appearance on live television. Dr. Tiana Pearce did a great job planning and organizing this amazing learning opportunity for our students. We also appreciate Rhoda Galvan and Alyssa Alaniz for helping chaperone.
